STATE LAW LIBRARY OF MISSISSIPPI

Jackson, MS

State Law Library of Mississippi

By state statute, we are the official State Law Library for the State of Mississippi. We collect, preserve, and make available to the public the foundation of Mississippi law. The State Library’s collection is unique in that it has sets of Mississippi General Laws, Mississippi House & Senate Journals, and Mississippi Local & Private Laws that cannot be matched by any other library.

The Law Library’s Digital Collection contains history of the library as well as government ceremonies held in the Gartin Judicial building.
